Welcome to our luxury brick cottages.

Set atop a 600 metre hill amongst a cherry orchard with pastoral views, our cottages are new, finely appointed to meet the needs of busy folk intent on enjoying the quiet peacefulness that the Highlands provide.

Enjoy the local environment

Avail yourself of interesting local walks and take in the views of the Goulburn Valley. The views are amazing whether you drive about the granite monoliths abounding in the area, or take in the views along Ghin Ghin Road. Then enjoy lashings of mountain-fresh hot water as you ease the pains from days spent enjoying the walks about the Castle. At sunset, sit back on our wide verandahs facing north and west and enjoy the golden glow.

Bask in comfort

All cottages provide the same degree of luxury. Choose your entry either from the ramp off the parking bay, or via our expansive front entry. Relax upon our three-seater sofabed lounge and take in the fan-assisted slow combustion fireplace. Listen to music on the CD radio-cassette deck or watch free in-house movies on the VCR/DVD.

Our bedrooms offer a comfy queen size bed, electric blankets, wool doona, remote tv, ceiling fan, a variety of lights, a mirrored sliding-door wardrobe, and a three-drawer lowboy. Step into our ensuite bathroom and enjoy the spacious corner spa tub, filled from our continuous hot water units, then turn on the spa pump which is heat-assisted to allow an invigorating experience. The bathroom also features a large continental stepless shower, as well as a vanity, mirror, and makeup lighting.

Fully appointed kitchen

Make yourself a cuppa in our fully fitted kitchen. Womble Ruff cookies are supplied for your added pleasure. Our kitchen offers you a four-plate electric cooktop, up-to-date microwave oven, electric frypan, saucepans and utensils needed to make a yummy meal. Our fridges are a roomy 210 litres in capacity. A choice of breakfast ingredients are provided, including cereal, bacon and a selection of SPC fruits. Of course, we provide crusty loaf, open range eggs, milk and condiments as standard. We are not licensed, however please feel free to bring your own.

Special requirements

What makes Arora Castle Cottages a cut above the rest is that they are also fitted out for people with a disability. The shower is suitable for taking in a wheelchair, has rails set at 80cm, and the shower rose can be hand-held. Of course we've provided suitable hand-railing to the disabled toilet as well. Our doorways are a generous 870mm wide with no impediments, and access to each of the cottages is via a gently sloping concrete ramp from the carspace.

Tariffs

You can get away to Arora Castle Cottages for $180 for two adults per night. We charge $40 per extra person, allowing a maximum of four persons per unit.Single night stays $200 per couple. All transactions are in cash. Payment is in advance. Check-in is from 2:30pm, checkout by 11am. We are a non-smoking establishment. And sorry, we don't allow pets.
